How
To Be in the Digital Gallery
The Digital
Gallery and Slide Show are open to all
Santa Cruz Art League Members
Here's how it works:
- The Digital Gallery and
Slide Show is a stand-alone web site originally set up to run only on
the Art League lobby computer. However, it is now also connected to
the internet as part of the main SCAL web site, and is viewed all over
the world.
- Each participating artist
may display up to 10 digital images of their work on their own "web"
page. (Image type and size restrictions are listed below.)
- Medium, size, prices, and
artist contact information is listed on their Gallery pages.
- Each artist may have one
(1) image of their choice to be on the Slide Show.
- Each artist agrees that
the Santa Cruz Art League is authorized to show and market works in
the Digital Gallery to prospective clients.
- All sales are subject to
artist's approval.
- Any sale of displayed images
made by the Santa Cruz Art League will earn a 30%-of-sale-price commission
to the Santa Cruz Art League.
- In the event an artist's
membership lapses and is not renewed, their web pages and images will
be removed.
- There is a $10 fee to Ron
Cook, our webmaster, for this service.
For information on image size
and file types to submit, please download the Contract form on the Art
League News page at http://www.scal.org/scal-news.htm.
Note: Slide and/or photo
scanning for artists needing the service is available at minimal cost
through member Ron Cook at ron@cooginstruments.com
or call (831) 425-4933.
