Visiting Artist Lecture
“The Art of the Deep” lecture by David Gallup
From the first moment he dipped his head below the ocean’s surface twenty years ago, David Gallup has been captivated. Beginning his career as a traditional impressionist coastal scenic painter, the sea had captured Gallup’s soul. Surfing, kayaking, snorkeling, sailing, spearfishing, and especially SCUBA diving are an important part of Gallup’s life, and all have inspired his paintings over the past twenty years.
More information about David and his work can be found at his website www.dgallup.org
